This is the tale of three expats (expatriates for those of you who aren't expats) living in London, who managed to make it to Edinburgh, Scotland for the New Year.
Now all three expats left the UK for Christmas, so they were all able to reap the benefits of duty free liquor when returning for New Year. The trio - American, Bradley, Kiwi Sarah, and American Maria, had made a pre Christmas pact that each would bring back a liter or duty free to be consumed over the course of the four days they would spend in Scotland together.

After a post Christmas reunion in London (partying inclusive) they pack their bags and prepared themselves for the five hour train ride up to Edinburgh. On December 30th they got their belongings together and really prepped themselves for the train. Four bowls of dope were passed around at approximately 12:30 pm to take a little of the tension away before they got to the station.
They manage to make it to the station, boarded the train and prepared for a yee-haw time over the New Year holiday. The millisecond the train pulled away from the platform at King's Cross station Kiwi Sarah had opened the first bottle in our porta-bar, which also doubled as a grass beach bag, when certain expats were near the ocean. Two minutes after our departure Kiwi Sarah, who was baked, meticulously pouring rum in the the half full bottle of Coke.
Now trains definitely sway side to side quite a bit, and being stoned doesn't help, so she manage to our the French rum all over the empty seat at our four seater travelling train table....
